French Connection
The Larimer Chorale season closes in grand and joyful style with French Connection, a celebration of French composers whose works are as vibrant as they are timeless. Joined by a full orchestra, the Larimer Chorale brings to life the lush harmonies of Fauré, the spirited drama of Bizet, and the playful elegance of Ravel. The program culminates in Poulenc’s exuberant Gloria, a choral and orchestral tour de force of reverence and rhythmic energy. The afternoon ends on a light and heartfelt note with an audience “hum-along” of the beloved classic La Vie en Rose, sending everyone off with a smile and a song.
