Returning to full strength, the Larimer Chorale looks ahead to the 2022-2023 season with a multi-genre palette of concerts. Our fall concert leads the way with "The Bernstein Effect," a concert devoted to the work of Leonard Bernstein and those he influenced. Our traditional holiday concerts in December will feature Britten’s lovely and haunting Ceremony of Carols. In March, we look ahead to performing the monumental Beethoven Missa Solemnis with full orchestra – giving singers and audience members alike a rare opportunity to be part of this magnificent masterwork. The season concludes with an energizing finale – a concert devoted to Queen, featuring a professional soloist as Freddie Mercury.
The Larimer Chorale is one of the largest and most accomplished avocational choral ensembles in the Colorado Rocky Mountain Region. We are an auditioned, adult choir that was created by our community, for our community. Through our concerts, events, and outreach activities, we actively demonstrate that singing is a life-long endeavor that brings fulfillment and enrichment to singers and audiences alike. We sing for the joy it brings to us and our audiences and out of a deep dedication to music and our community.
