The list of repertoire the Chorale has performed over the past 50 years is quite impressive. For the 50th anniversary we wanted to present a “greatest hits” concert but there were too many pieces from which to choose. To solve this problem, we gave the members of the Chorale the opportunity to vote on their favorite pieces or movements from the past. The result ... a wonderfully diverse program of choral/orchestral masterworks ranging from Handel, Bach, Mozart, Haydn and Brahms to Fauré, Whitacre, Duruflé, Barber and Karl Jenkins. Finally, just for fun, we’ll be auctioning off the opportunity for an audience member to conduct Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus” from Messiah. Sharpen your batons!!!
