Silvertones Present: An Afternoon with the Masters - Old & New

Join Silvertones for an afternoon of music featuring works of the great musical masters of the past and some choral masters of the 20th and 21st Century. The chorus, along with guest artists String Quartet Con Brio, present music by Handel, Mozart, Dvorák, Bernstein, Rutter, and Eric Whitacre. This journey through songs of composer past and present highlights some of the marvelous and awe-inspiring compositions from the sublime setting of Mozart’s Ave Verum Corpus to Eric Whitacre’s Sing Gently, written in response to the 2020 pandemic. An Afternoon with The Master – Old & New, is a tour of songs delightful to present and inspiring for listeners.
