The Larimer Chorale, Fort Collins, Colorado
The Larimer Chorale, founded in 1977, is the largest classical choral group in northern Colorado and features over 110 auditioned adult voices. Our diverse repertoire includes works by the masters of classical choral music, including Bach, Mozart, Brahms, and Beethoven. We also perform lighter music, such as pieces by Leonard Bernstein, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and other 19th- and 20th-century composers. Our singers volunteer their time (over 20,000 hours per year), attend weekly rehearsals, and perform three or more concerts from September through May.
The mission of Larimer Chorale, an auditioned symphonic chorus based in Fort Collins, Colorado, is to perform choral music at a high artistic standard, with an emphasis on masterworks, and to enrich and educate singers and audiences throughout northern Colorado.
To accomplish this mission, we perform three to five full-length concerts per year and engage in an active program of community outreach.
